Tile Installer / Tile Setter
Skilled tile setters needed for luxury bathroom and kitchen tile installations across Orange County, CA. Large format tile, shower surrounds, and decorative tile experience preferred.
About This Role
We are seeking highly skilled tile installers who specialize in large format tile, intricate patterns, and spa-quality bathroom installations. Our projects demand precision, artistry, and a thorough understanding of modern tile installation techniques for luxury residential remodeling projects throughout Orange County.
Responsibilities
- Install large format porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone tile in kitchens and bathrooms
- Set shower surrounds, wet areas, floor tile, and decorative wall tile
- Prepare substrates including backer board, waterproofing membranes, and mortar beds
- Execute precise cuts for complex layouts, patterns, and transitions
- Install heated floor systems beneath tile
- Grout, caulk, and seal tile installations to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- 4+ years of tile installation experience with emphasis on residential luxury projects
- Experience with large format tile (24"x48" and larger)
- Proficiency with wet saws, angle grinders, and precision cutting tools
- Knowledge of waterproofing systems (Schluter, Wedi, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and layout planning skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with book-matched stone and decorative mosaic tile
- Heated floor system installation experience
- Portfolio of completed luxury bathroom and kitchen tile projects
