Construction Project Manager
Lead residential remodeling projects end-to-end for one of Orange County's top design-build firms. Oversee luxury kitchen, bathroom, and whole-home renovations.
About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of residential remodeling projects at Cindy Horner Designs. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our design team, subcontractors, and clients — ensuring every project is delivered on time, on budget, and to our exacting quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of residential remodeling projects from pre-construction through final walkthrough
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement timelines
- Coordinate subcontractors including plumbers, electricians, tile setters, and cabinet installers
- Process permits and ensure compliance with local building codes in Orange County jurisdictions
- Conduct regular site visits and quality control inspections
- Communicate project status, changes, and milestones to clients and design team
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction project management experience in residential remodeling
- Strong understanding of residential building codes and permitting in Orange County
- Experience managing luxury kitchen and bathroom remodels
- Proficiency with project management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, or similar)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- California Contractor's License (B General Building)
- PMP or CCM certification
- Experience with design-build delivery model
- Familiarity with HOA architectural approval processes
